Mid Island Co-op Raises $91,309 for Vancouver Island local food banks

For years, we've included holiday donations to food banks across Vancouver Island as part of our annual donations, but in 2026 we decided to do things a different way — the Co-op way. This year's donation was a collaboration between Mid Island and the communities we serve by matching donations made at any of our Mid Island Co-op Gas Bars or Mid Island Liquor locations.

Donations were kept in the communities they were collected in, and we are proud to say that $91,309 was raised for 11 different organizations! An incredible thank you to everyone who donated. Together we made an impact felt across Vancouver Island!
