90 Years Strong: Honouring Our Past, Inspiring Our Future

Saskatoon Co-operative Association Limited officially incorporated in January of 1936; born from two earlier local co-operatives, one of which was a small coal and wood supply service. By the end of that first year, our Co-op reached 98 members!

Now, at over 128,000 members, Saskatoon Co-op is celebrating 90 years strong, a milestone that reflects the Association’s enduring strength and commitment, while looking forward to an inspiring future. Co-ops have long made a meaningful difference in people’s lives: we are owned by our members, we share our profits, and our members help guide how we operate. Their values haven’t just aligned with who we are—they’ve woven the very fabric of our identity.
